Admissions

Meadows Montessori School does not discriminate based on a family's socio-economic status, race, ethnicity, culture, religion, or family structure.

To enroll in our Toddler Program, children need to be between the ages of 15 months and 2.9 years. We offer both 10-month and 12-month program options.

In order to be considered for our Children's House program, children need to be between the ages of 2.9 and six-years-old by the start of the school year. Children must also be able to use the toilet independently.

​Children between the ages of six and nine will be considered for our Lower Elementary program. And children between the ages of nine and 12 will be considered for our Upper Elementary program.

 

Choosing a Montessori school for your child is an important decision. In order for you to make a well-informed decision, we invite you to participate in the following steps:

1) Complete our online Inquiry Form using the “connect tab” to learn more about our program and ask any questions about Montessori and our school.

2) Submit a completed application with a non-refundable application fee of $50 per child. 

3) Schedule a school visit, tour and observe our classrooms, and meet with our Head of School.

Applicants to our Children's House program will be asked to attend a child interview session prior to entering the program. 

Applicants for our Elementary program will be asked to observe, visit a classroom for the day, and share prior work. Observation and assessment by the lead guide prior to entry into the program is required. There will be an opportunity for a parent-teacher conference as well. 

Once all the above steps have been completed, the application is reviewed by the Head of School. The decision to admit is based on space availability, all phases of the admission process, as well as the needs of existing classes with regard to the balance of age and gender. 

Interviews for our primary program traditionally take place beginning in March or April. Parents are contacted regarding our admission decision within a month. (The above procedure may vary when openings become available during the school year.)

DEPOSIT

All Programs: $250 Enrollment Deposit is due upon acceptance for all new students. Enrollment Deposits roll forward for re-enrolling children if required paperwork has been received by due date.
